Sales is next: Nooks secures $500M and introduces Node

Ask our engineers and they'll tell you their work looks nothing like it did a year ago. AI changes every job on the same curve: first the tools help a little, then the job itself changes. It happened in coding, then legal and support.

Sales is next. It's taken longer because selling is about people and persuasion, and there's no single right answer. But agents are getting better fast.

Today we're announcing three things:

  1. The Nooks Revenue Agent Platform, where reps and AI agents work the whole revenue lifecycle together
  2. Node, the first AI personal assistant for sales
  3. A $500 million in growth capital from General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund

What makes a true revenue agent

A true revenue agent has three properties:

  1. It's goal-oriented. It owns an outcome, like moving a deal to its next stage, instead of finishing one task and waiting for the next prompt.
  2. It has durable context. It remembers every call, email, stakeholder and objection, across months, or even years.
  3. It's self-learning. It gets better with every interaction.

Most AI tools in sales today have one of these, maybe two. The third is the hardest, and it’s where we’ve spent the most time.

Any AI tool can generate an email. We know which email wins the deal. Nooks makes the calls and sends the emails on our own infrastructure, so our agents see what happens next: the reply, the meeting, the closed deal. Nooks Research trains our agents on more than 1 billion real sales interactions and before an agent reaches a real buyer, it rehearses the play against a simulated one.

The Revenue Agent Platform gives every agent shared context and a learning loop. It runs Deal, Outbound, Expansion and Coaching Agents today, with Inbound Agents arriving in Q1 2027.

Meet Node

For years, people have been prompting AI. With Node, the AI prompts you.

Node is the first AI personal assistant for sales – or as we like to call it, the EA for the AE. It works every deal in the background and comes to the rep first. Its first job is Deal Management, which keeps every open deal moving:

  • It remembers what was promised on last week's call, drafts the follow-up, and once the rep approves it, sends it for them.
  • It notices when someone on the buying committee goes quiet and flags it before the deal stalls.
  • When a deal slows, it looks at what worked on similar deals and drafts the move most likely to restart it.

Every member of the deal team gets their own Node, and those Nodes share what's working. Reps approve every send, and 96% of emails drafted by Nooks agents go out without edits.

Why we chose growth capital

More than 2,000 companies run on Nooks, including Glean, Notion, Deel, Factory and Replit. Customers typically build 3x more pipeline with Nooks. We're growing ~3x year over year, net revenue retention is 135% and more than half of our customers use more than one Nooks product.

Those customer economics are what made this commitment possible. General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund invests in sales and marketing for companies with proven, predictable customer economics, and it's repaid from the customer value that spend creates. It works for us because we run our own go-to-market on Nooks, so we know what every dollar turns into.

"AI changed how software gets built. Nooks is changing how it gets sold," said Pranav Singhvi, partner and co-head of the Customer Value Fund at General Catalyst.

We'll use it to bring new products to market, scale into the enterprise and internationally and hire across the company. We have more than 100 open roles.

The revenue team of the future

AI will make companies want more salespeople, not fewer.

We're seeing it ourselves: Node made our own sales team so productive that we're accelerating hiring. The job will change. Agents take the follow-ups and admin, and reps spend their time on what only people can do: strategy, creativity and earning a buyer's trust.

In a year, a rep without agents will look as outdated as a rep without a phone.

Sales is one of the biggest workforces in business and AI hasn’t transformed it yet. We’re building the agents that will.

Time to get to work.
