About the author
Nikhil Cheerla is the co-founder and CTO of Nooks, where he leads engineering and applied AI research. He co-founded the company in 2020 with Dan Lee and Rohan Suri while studying at Stanford University, where he earned a B.S. ('21) and M.S. ('23) in computer science with a focus on artificial intelligence. Before Nooks, Nikhil worked as an ML engineer on Tesla Autopilot, on Lyft's autonomous vehicle Perception team, and at Cerebras Systems, and conducted computer vision research at Stanford's Vision Lab. He is also the co-founder of MathAndCoding.org, a non-profit that runs free coding workshops for K-12 students. Nikhil has been recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for AI and writes on LLMs, voice AI, and the engineering behind production-grade AI sales agents.
